These are the locations where the winter boots are made. Timberland uses cowhide leather to create boots that are durable and sturdy for winter wear yet comfortable to use. These boots are crafted in these factories and sealed with the logo before adding different designs.
What are Timberland Boots Made of?
Aside from the cowhide leather and the rubber sole that is used to make the form of the shoes, the company also utilizes plastic water bottles of various parts of the boots. In 2017 alone, over 128 Million used plastic bottles has been recycled by the company and turned them into linings, insulations, uppers, laces, faux shearling and backing of faux fur. Meaning, the company does not use animal fur when making their shoes. On the other hand, the company still utilizes animal leather and wool for their boots and shoes.
How much does a pair of Timberland costs?
Exclusive Timberland boots have prices that range from $70 to $190 depending on the quality and the size of the boots. Basically, if a pair cost you $140, the $35 of it was used to make them and they are sold to retailers for around $105. The remaining $35 is the profit that the retailers made from the sale.  Presently with various manufacturing locations and lower labor costs, the factory can get a pair for 25% of the original cost to make it, then sell it to the company for 50% and they get 25% of the profit when we buy the shoes.
