Putt putt games are better known as mini golf games. It is very much like the sports where it was derived from and involves using golf clubs and golf balls. But with this game, instead of a vast space, the game utilizes miniature golf courses. Usually, mini golf courses have multiple of 9 holes similar to the actual game, but the distances are much shorter - about 10 yards from the tee area to the golf hole.

Most putt putt playing fields are modified to make it more exciting for players and there are obstacles incorporated. Some use geometric obstacles, ruts and other similar devices for a more stimulating and challenging game.

The park is open on weekends - Fridays from 4PM to 8PM, Saturdays from 1PM to 8PM and Sundays from 2PM to 6PM. They are handicapped accessible, they have meeting rooms and there are interior entrances and admission fees for every attraction that you might fancy. Go Karting Montgomery is located at 9033 Wares Ferry Road just across Cook Station.

The Planet Putt

Located outside Montgomery but still very accessible is the Planet Putt in Opelika AL. The center has an exciting mini golf course that teaches geography as well!

Planet Putt is the only mini-golf course in Auburn and Opelika and it draws families and golf enthusiasts for a delightful putt putt experience. They have created some of the most popular US landmarks in the mini golf course making it a truly enriching and fun mini golf game.

What makes Planet Putt different is that they have the black light on which makes players look like they are glowing in the dark as they play on.
Planet Putt is located at 1220 Fox Run Ave, Opelika and they are open year around Mondays to Saturdays from 11AM to 10PM.

Family Tree Top Adventures

Family Tree Top Adventures is an amusement park that has an 18-hole mini-golf course with an amazing stream that goes through the course and becomes a waterfall. The place has more activities in store for families who can’t decide on what activities to take.

Located in Birmingham Al, Family Tree Top Adventures have Go-Kart tracks, a three-story indoor playground clubhouse, Hide and Seek inside a Tree with jumpies, Laser Tag with SWAT vehicles and tanks, a mini bowling center and an arcade center.

Family Tree Top Adventures is open from Sunday to Friday 12PM-12 AM, Saturdays from 10AM to 9PM. It is located at 20 Shop Drive, Birmingham AL.

Back 9 Pitch and Putt

This mini golf course is also a favorite among the locals raising young golfers and golf enthusiasts. They have been in service for 20 years now. Located right in the heart of Montgomery, you can find this mini golf course at 13305 Wares Ferry Road. They are open Monday to Saturday 9AM-10PM and Sundays 9AM to 5PM.

Possum Park Adventures Inc

This park has a newly opened miniature golf course which fast becoming known for its batting cages. Located in 1321 S Memorial Drive, Prattville AL, the park is open Monday to Friday 3PM to 7PM, Saturdays 10AM to 7PM and Sundays 1PM to 6PM.

Mini golf games vary in every playing fields and location so golf enthusiasts will really enjoy the fun and excitement in playing their favorite game. Despite being designed for kids enjoyment, some golfers still find mini golf courses challenging too.  Some of these mini golf courses also conduct tournaments and competitions so better watch out for them. If you’re raising sports-minded youngsters, you may want to visit any of these putt putt locations to introduce them to the game and they can practice holding the club and develop their swinging skills.
